We are a non-profit NGO founded by a group of professional & amateur <\/span>astronomers with the goal of raising public awareness in space and astronomy.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Since 2012, ESA has been holding a wide range of astronomical activities on a regular basis. Our activities include public lectures, observational nights, open discussions, astronomy-related movies screening, workshops, beginners courses and astronomy trips.<\/span><\/h3>\n

We were the first to coin the word “\u0623\u0645\u0633\u064a\u0629 \u0641\u0644\u0643\u064a\u0629” and use it in Egypt as a special event including a lecture followed by sky observation. These public events received huge public acceptance and society appreciation among the community.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I have a huge passion for astronomy since childhood. As one of the founders and a board member of ESA since 2012, I had the chance to head the PR & HR department, handling ESA’s events, communications, and public outreach.<\/p>\n

I graduated form Cairo University with a degree in Astronomy and I am currently heading the Planetarium at Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Communicating astronomy to the public is a vision I have had for a long time and have been working on it ever since.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By receiving my B.Sc. degree in Civil engineering, I combined science with technology, theory with practice, to start a long line of astronomical activities in Egypt to help spread Astronomy in the community,with a focus on Space Dynamics.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have been an amateur astronomer for more than 16 years, during which I co-founded
ESA. I have a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Philology and Arabic Manuscripts Research focusing on the History of the Medieval
